Aaaah, fresh air! The fifth grade classes from Art City Elementary went to Shadow Mtn. on Thursday, September 18th. They were involved in several challenging leadership and team building exercises and enjoyed being in the mountain air.

Shadow Mountain is a camp 5th grade students in the Nebo School District have the opportunity to attend during the summer. Today they were able see what it is like. Being with friends and learning to get along all while being in the mountains was an adventure these 5th grade students will never forget.

Green Ribbon Safety Week was celebrated at Art City Elementary the week of September 13-17.  Some of the activities the students were involved in were walk to school day, no TV for the week, and an assembly about bike safety.
