We love Miss Vickey!
Vickey is superwoman! Not only is she a bus driver, but she is also a technician for one of the special education classes at Art City Elementary. She begins each day early as she drives a bus to pick up students and take them to school and does so with a smile! She is adored y all the kids. Vickey is so fun and patient! We would be lost without her!

Mrs. Anderton received the Elementary PE Shape Utah Teacher of the Year Award today!! Mrs. A is one of Art City Elementary's PE teachers and the students adore her. She is one of the kindest people you will ever meet. We love Mrs. A!!!

Each month Art City teachers select two students from their class who have demonstrated Stand Strong behaviors.  Stand Strong Students of the Month are outstanding examples of positive character traits and have shown that they are safe, respectful, and responsible.  Way to go to our January and February Stand Strong Students!!

The whole fifth grade designed solutions for homes to minimize damage for flooding. Students then tested their ideas and discussed how realistic and feasible their ideas were.

BYU's Cougar Built Dunk Team came to the school to remind kids to be "Cougar Built".  Being "Cougar Built" means being kind to others and working hard to do good in school.  The students had a lot of fun participating in the activities, cheering for each other and for the dunk team.

Mrs. Rhonda Hone is one of the paraprofessionals that work here at Art City Elementary.  Rhonda received the Classified Employee Recognition for Art City!! Rhonda is an amazing person and helps so many students. We love her!
