Each month Art City teachers select two students from their class who have demonstrated Stand Strong behaviors. Stand Strong Students of the Month are outstanding examples of positive character traits and have shown that they are safe, respectful, and responsible. Way to go to our November Stand Strong Students!!

Students here at Art City have the opportunity to nominate their peers who they have observed demonstrating Stand Strong behaviors. Each month those nominated are honored at the Stand Strong assembly. Pictured are those who were nominated for the month of November. Great job Awesome Eagles!
As students were coming into the gym for the Stand Strong assembly, the student council invited a few students to come to the stage and dance before the assembly began. Way to move students!

Students at Art City Elementary earn Eagle Bucks for doing well in class, specialties and during recess times. These students chose to use their Eagle Bucks to be on the web page. Great job!
Kindergarten classes at Art City were able to enjoy some of the same activities that pilgrim children enjoyed. Students washed clothes on a washboard, sewed a button and played old fashioned games. They also learned about Native Americans. They popped popcorn, ground corn, made a pot with clay, read stories, and made beaded necklaces. The smile on their faces said it all. Mrs. Morgan, Miss Orton and Mrs. Heath would like to thank all those who helped.
