Students have been enjoying the snow.  They have been building all sorts of things out on the playground, including this snow person.

Each year, BYU invites elementary schools to come to the Marriott Center to watch one of the BYU women's basketball games.  Art City was one of many schools that had the opportunity to attend.  The students had a lot of fun.  Thank you BYU!!

Five students from Art City Elementary participated in the Reflections contest this year.  All five students received an Award of Excellence and moved onto the Council level.  One student, who started at Cherry Creek Elementary, was also recognized for participating in Reflections.  Three Art City student's submissions went on to the counsel level and received an Award of Excellence.  One student's artwork went on to the Regional level and won an Award of Merit!   Thank you to everyone who participated!

Students at Art City Elementary earn Eagle Bucks for doing well in class, specialties and during recess times.  These students chose to use their Eagle Bucks to be on the web page.  Great job!

Art City students are loving the inviting lobby on these cold winter mornings before school starts.  We are so thankful for the generous donation from the Tammy Douglas Daybell Foundation to help make it such a great space in our school!

Mrs. Anderson’s class did a fun 3-D art project with Mrs. Gervais today. The students all made a steamy mug of hot cocoa. It’s perfect on a cold winter’s day.

Most of the students and staff wore p.j.'s on the last day of school before the Christmas break.  There were class parties and what looked like an actual train in a couple of classes.
