Art City Elementary, in Springville, held their annual Spelling Bee Wednesday February 13, 2013. There were 52 students who participated in the Spelling Bee. Andrew Farley, Fourth-grade, received first place and will be advancing to the District Spelling Bee. Ammon Elzinga, Fifth-grade, placed second Austin Watts, sixth-grade, placed third place. Art City Elementary students, on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, had the opportunity of watching the talented group “A Touch of Class” perform "A Taste of Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven" which is a unique presentation that introduces children to three of the world’s greatest classical composers.
