Students of the Month at Art City Elementary are students who are recognized for going above and beyond school expectations.
Art City Faculty and staff, Mrs. Droubay, Mrs. Roylance, Miss Channell and Mrs. LeMmon, were recognized by Rich Davis from Allstate insurance for their devotion and dedication to Art City Elementary school and our students for the month of November. Each received a $25 visa gift card.
Art City Elementary school had the oppoutunity to have The Music Makers visit their school. The program they provided is called “AMERICA SINGS”. This program provided a lively and educational musical experience for the students. It is a celebration of America’s rich musical heritage. It featured traditional American songs along with new original music composed on the spot with the students. The program features American Music with a focus on Musical Theatre. Art City Elementary had approximately 27 students participate in the Reflections program this year. Several pieces were selected to move onto the district level. Thank you Mrs. Carter for helping get students involved in Reflections.
