On January 14,2014 Art City Elementary had an art's assembly. The Kimball A.R.T.S. center, From Park City, Utah, shared gave a 45 minute tour for the "Painters of the Wasatch Mountains". The presenter asked us how cool it would be to have art in a museum yourself. One artist was a cowboy' his name is Mainer Dixon, hee painted a picture that is called "Road to the river." After the "tour" the presenters went around to various classes sharing an art project, allowing students to create a small Park city Wasatch Mountain landscape paining after drawing them on canvas paper.Information provided by Karly Bracken, Lauren Negus and Lauren Hatch
