Come to Britt’s Book shelf! When? On the last day of each month. Where? Behind the office by the Sixth-grade classes. Who? Everyone is welcome; How? You can buy a book for 25 cents or you can trade a book for a different book.
Britt’s Bookshelf is in memory or Britt Dalley, a previous student of Art City.
Mr. David Rowe, previous Principal, saw a need for a way for students to get books to read, knowing that many students had books that they had previously read and knowing others needed books. The opportunity to get books for a reasonable price is an opportunity for educational moments. Alex Knowlton wanted to do an Eagle Project and was good friends with Britt and wanted to remember him so dedicated the bookstore to Britt.
