Art City Elementary School held their Christmas Orchestra concert for the school, on December 10, then in that evening for their parents.  Students have the opportunity to learn 2-3 songs for December then in January begin to learn more other songs for their spring concert. 

Elementary schools in Nebo School District have the option of hosting a before or after school orchestra class. This is an optional program. A school’s participation is determined by the principal and School Community Group. It is open to 6th grade students. Students receive instruction 2-3 times per week for 45 minutes and pay a yearly tuition of $75 which helps cover the cost of instruction. Students also purchase method books which they keep.
Students perform at least two concerts at their school and participate in a district-wide “Monster Concert” in the spring where they combine with other students in a mass ensemble of about 200 players. Students look forward each year to this big event!
