Art City Elementary School 2018-2019 Student Action Team

The 2018-19 Student Action Team at Art City Elementary is ready to make this the best year ever!  The Student Action Team is a group of 4, 5 and 6th grade students who are interested in being leaders of our school.  They work together to help students feel a part of Art City.  They watch out for each other, look for those students who may need a friend, some extra help or a listening ear.  They encourage Safety, Respect and Responsibility through good examples, encouragement and positive problem solving. The team works with Mrs. Muirbrook and Mrs. Shumway, our school counselor.  The team is an advocate for anti-bullying.  They learn skills and strategies to help themselves and friends stop bullying and promote kindness and understanding.
