Mrs. Safford's third grade class worked together to create a mosaic Thanksgiving turkey for their door!

Mrs. Jensen loves to recognize those students working hard at the LIFT Program.  Their pictures are displayed by their grade level and then moved to the main lobby on the "Doing the Reps" banner.  Make sure to stop by and check out all the fun photos!

Each month Art City teachers select two students from their class who have demonstrated Stand Strong behaviors.  Stand Strong Students of the Month are outstanding examples of positive character traits and have shown that they are safe, respectful, and responsible.  Way to go to our October Stand Strong Students!!

Students here at Art City have the opportunity to nominate their peers who they have observed demonstrating Stand Strong behaviors.  Each month those nominated are honored at the Stand Strong assembly.  Pictured are those who were nominated for the month of October.   Great job Awesome Eagles!

Art City Elementary celebrated students that had 100 percent attendance during the first term of school.  The students received a water bottle. Keep it up students!

The student council portrayed how to show kindness with a student that was playing alone.  They also showed how to continue inviting students to come play day after day.

At Art City Elementary the student council has the opportunity to lead and help with the Stand Strong Assembly.  They begin with a small dance party as students are coming into the gym.  The student council invites students to come up and dance. They also make announcements and demonstrate good behavior during the assembly. The student council also leads the students in singing the school song. 

We want to give a big shout out to this awesome Art City student who had 3 poems on display as a part of the Art and Literature Exhibit celebrating artists of Indian origin.  Way to go!
