Mrs. Muirbrook's Office staff had a little fun decorating her office for her birthday. Her favorite place to eat is Joe Bandito's.
Art City Elementary students have been busy all year learning about different artists and art techniques. Each student chose their favorite piece of art and it was displayed in the hallways of the school just outside each classroom. Thank you parents and PTA for all of your help in displaying the pictures as well as helping teach the "Great Artist" classes.
In February Water Van from Loveland Living Aquarium visited Art City Elementary School sixth grade classes. They talked about ecosystems, what happens when a nonindiginous species invades an area and what happens to the environment (the invader eats all of the food and there is no food left for the fish or animals that are native to the area). They also had the opportunity to meet a very large lizard, a hedgehog and a snake.
Art City Students in Mrs. Luther's class show they are Safe, Respectful and Responsible by the choices they make every day while in school. They earned ten Eagle Bucks and redeemed them for their picture with friends on the school website!
