On October 25th, Art City Elementary First grade classes had the opportunity to go to the Scera theater to see the play, "Captain Louie". It was a play about friendship and Halloween. The students had popcorn and drinks. First grade students and teachers said, "We had a blast!!"
Art City Elementary has a lot of red, white and blue today! We say, “Thank You Veterans”!
Art City Elementary school represented Halloween well, "Where's the office staff?" When anyone went into the office on Halloween they could only find Waldo. The lunch ladies decided to go "hunting" and found a "deer" lurking in the lunch room. The kindergarten staff twinned it up while special ed. tried to stay clear of "Cruella de Vil". First grade teachers were quite "Seasonal" and Second grade "Piggies" were not afraid of the big bad wolf.
Students of the Month at Art City Elementary are students who are recognized for going above and beyond school expectations. "Stand Strong" Students of the Month demonstrate"Stand Strong" behaviors which are: Safe, Respectful, Responsible.
Art City Lunch Ladies Rock!! Our lunch ladies had a lot of fun during National School Lunch week, October 9-13. They were almost as excited as the kids were to see the fire trucks and ambulance pull up on Wednesday and when the Payson police officer came on Thursday. Our lunch ladies are some of Art City's finest heroes. Thank you ladies for feeding us and making lunch fun.

Art City Elementary recognized Rich Davis from Allstate at the Utah Valley Business and Education Partnership Breakfast on October 6, 2017 for his many donations which have helped upgrade classroom technology. Thank you!
Art City Students in Ms. Larsen's class show they are Safe, Respectful and Responsible by the choices they make every day while in school. They earned ten Eagle Bucks and redeemed them for their picture on the school website!
