Marisa Channell is a new second grade teacher at Art City! She is not new to Art City, but she is new to teaching second grade.  Miss Channell graduated high school from Mountain View High School in Orem, Utah. She graduated college from Brigham Young University-Idaho. This is her 12th year teaching in Nebo School District! 

Miss Channell was born in Provo and she grew up in Orem, and still lives in Orem. She is the second in her family, she is single and spends all her free time living life to the fullest! Besides teaching, her favorite things to do outside of school include, being a homebody during the school year and taking as many trips as possible during the summer. She loves seeing new, and not new to her, places. She often sees close to 40 plays/musicals/or Shakespeare shows a year. She is always reading or listening to books and has way too many favorites to name. When she is not doing all of that, she loves to sew and quilt the way too much fabric she owns!
