Art City fifth grade students held their annual wax museum on March 9, 2023.   Students dressed up as famous and important people in United States' history.  Some of the characters from history included, George Washington, Nikola Tesla, Elvis Presley, Amelia Earheart, Florence Nightingale, and Walt Disney.  All Art City students, as well as 5th grader's families, were able to walk through the museum and stop and listen to the "famous person" tell a little about themselves and their history.   Art City has been doing the wax museum for over 22 years.  The wax museum gives students an opportunity to read biographies, learn how to write a research paper and create a slide show presentation about their character.  Students have fun dressing up, and teachers enjoy seeing the efforts put into the characters.
