School Counselors visit classrooms throughout the year to present Life Skills lessons.

Conflict Resolution
Coping Skills
Friendship
Handling Change
Resilience + Perserverance
Self-Esteem
Self-Regulation
Students can be referred to join Group Counseling by a parent/guardian, teacher, or themselves. Students must have a signed Permission Form before they can participate. Groups run for approximately six weeks.

Perfectionism + Self-Esteem
Stress Management
Students can be referred to meet with the School Counselor individually by a parent/guardian, teacher, or themselves. Students must have a signed Permission Form to do so.
Individual Counseling is on an as-needed-basis. Topics discussed in Group Counseling and Classroom Presentations can be addressed further through Individual Counseling.
School Counselors are not therapists. Group and Individual Counseling are designed to teach students skills that can help them cope with problems and/or concerns they are currently facing so they can be successful at school.
