The 3rd grade classes, from Art City Elementary school, went to Macey’s grocery store. They learned how to eat healthy foods. Their favorite part was when they tried Kiwi and when we made a tree with broccoli, carrots and tomatoes.

All of the 3rd grade classes, from Art City Elementary school, are learning about the food groups and the have been going to Macey’s grocery store, this helps them understand how a healthy diet and exercise can increase the likelihood of physical and mental wellness. They are also learning to adopt behaviors to maintain personal health and safety.
