Art City Elementary presents The Christmas Choir. The Christmas Choir performed for the school on Wednesday December 16th, then Thursday night for parents and the community. The choir is an after school program that has been meeting since the beginning of October. Miss Winkel, Second grade teacher at Art City Elementary School, is the director; Kasey Dutson, Star Tutor at Art City Elementary, is the accompanist. The students shined as they sang and acted out some of the songs. Peppermint Stick was one of the favorites as they started out very calm and ended dancing very vigorously. Silent Night is always a good way to end a program, the students signed the first verse then sang it.
