Hi my name is Emily Jayme.  I graduated from Sugar-Salem High School in Sugar City, Idaho, Ricks College and Brigham Young University.  This is my fourth year teaching. I am so excited to be teaching sixth grade.  I was born in Rexburg, Idaho and I grew up in Sugar City, Idaho.  I now live in Springville, Utah.  I am the eighth in my family. I am married.  To tell you a little about my family. I am married and have three daughters. My oldest two daughters are married with their own families. My youngest is in sixth grade.

Hi my name is Amber Park.  I graduated high school from Logan High School and attended College at Utah State University.  This is my second year as a  technician in Nebo School District. I am so excited to be the Skill Building Coach at Art City.  I was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I grew up in Arizona, England, Texas, New Mexico, and Utah. (My dad was in the Air Force)  I now live in Springville, Utah.  I am the fifth of six children in my family. I am married and have four children (three boys and one girl).

Hi my name is Makayla Thomas.  I graduated high school from Maple Mountain High and college from Utah Valley University.  This is my second year teaching and I am so excited to be teaching fifth grade.  I was born in Payson, Utah. I grew up in Spanish Fork, Utah.  I now live in Spanish Fork.  I am the middle child of two sisters in my family. I am married.  To tell you a little about my family:  I married my husband, Tyler, last year. We dated all through high school. We live in Spanish Fork, Utah and have a dog.

Hi my name is Jensen Krause!  I graduated High School from Pioneer High School in Woodland, CA and College from Brigham Young University - Provo.  This is my third year teaching. I am so excited to be teaching Resource/Special Education. I was born in Sacramento, CA; I grew up in Woodland, CA.  I now live in Provo, UT.  I am the oldest of two children in my family. My parents still live in California with our dog, Marley. My younger brother is serving in the Air Force.  I am dating a nice boy (in my picture!) who I met while attending BYU.

Hi my name is Justin Boswell. I graduated High school from Naperville North, Naperville, Illinois; and College from Brigham Young University.  This is my first year teaching. I am so excited to be teaching sixth-grade.  I was born in Provo; I grew up in Chicago.  I now live in Provo.  I am the oldest in my family; I am married to Samantha and we have one child, Triton, our beta fish.  My favorite things to do outside of school include: Attending BYU football games, playing video games, and playing volleyball.

Hi my name is Shelby Sutterfield. I graduated High school from Bountiful High School and College from Brigham Young University.  This is my second year teaching. I am so excited to be teaching fourth-grade.  I was born and grew up in Bountiful Utah.  I now live in Provo.  I am the seventh of seven in my family; I am married. I have been married for two years and my husband is working on his masters of accountancy at Brigham Young University. We love to travel and do anything outdoors including boating and snow skiing.

What brings attention to Miss Shumway's class? Curiosity.  What is making her class laugh and cheer?  Team building activities!  How do you get the "pretzel" unwound?  Patience and working together. 

My name is Treana Kober.  I graduated from Mead High School,(in Washington); Western Oregon State with my Bachelors of Science, and Brigham Young University with my Masters in Education.  This is my 25th year in education.  I am so excited to be the counselor at Art City.  I was born in Gooding, Idaho; I grew up in Pendleton, Oregon. I now live in Payson, Utah.  I am the second in my family of six; I am married, I have five children and two grandchildren (with one more on the way).  I love to ride horses, watch football, and write stories.

Hi my name is Michele LeMmon.  I graduated High school from Richfield High School and College from Utah Valley University. This is my 11th  year teaching. I am so excited to be teaching 4th-grade.  I was born in Salt Lake City; I grew up in Richfield, Utah.  I now live in Payson.  I am the 2nd oldest in my family; I am married.  To tell you a little about my family  . . .  My husband's name is Russell and he is a teacher as well.  He teaches History and Geography at Spanish Fork Jr.

The first day of school is so exciting!!  We get to meet our new teacher, meet new friends and have lots of fun.  Garrett and Ella Park pose for the traditional first day of school outside.  When they arrived inside, they were so excited to go to class they left mom (Amber Park) in the dust, she found them sitting at their desks ready to start the new school year.  Welcome back everyone to another great year at Art City Elementary School.
