Don't forget, the first-grade Thanksgiving program will be on Wednesday, November 16, at 9 am for the school and 6:30 p.m. for Parents and friends.

If your student(s) were absent on the day of pictures or if you need them re-taken; tomorrow (Wednesday November 9) is picture Make-up Day. 

Mrs. Luther, Mrs. Thomas, Mr. Warner and Mrs. Muirbrook could not be out done as they too jumped and danced in the jump ropes. 

The Just Jumpin jump rope team, after performing their routine, gathered several students to demonstrate the ease of jump roping and incorporated a few tricks. 

Students at Art City Elementary School, on Monday October 31st, had the opportunity to dress in their favorite Halloween costumes and march through the school for other students as well as through the gym for all of the parents to see. 

Art City takes Halloween seriously.  Classes dress up and even go to PE in their costumes.  Thank you students for being Art City Big!!

Art City Elelmentary School in Springville, Utah, hosted the Utah Opera for an educational assembly.  The Utah Opera tours the state sharing with students, stories and music and how they can be tied together.  Students at Art City enjoyed the interactions and the energy coming from the singers. “’Who Wants to be an OPERA STAR?’ is an introduction to opera: the art form that combines drama, visual art, dance, orchestral music, and singing. Operas use words, action and music to tell stories full of conflict and emotion, and they are usually entirely sung.

The teachers at Art City Elementary school enjoy the Halloween spirit almost as much as the students, not shown the fifth-grade team who were the three blind mice.
