Art City Elementary School, Springville, held their Annual Fourth-grade Dinosaur Museum on Friday September 30, 2011 . The museum is an opportunity for students to share what they have learned about the Fourth-grade science core of fossils and where they are found, (sedementory rock). Students used computers and the library to do some of their research about the extinction of dinosaurs and other prehistoric organisms. Students made blankets, pillows, dioramas, posters, there were a few fossil digs as well as 3-D displays. The Dinosaur Museum is an activity all of the students Kindergarten through sixth-grade walk through, the younger students get excitted about "one day I get to do this" while the older students say, "I remember when I did this, this is similar to the one I did", as they stand and "dig" for a bone.
