On October 21, 2014 the Clark Planetarium visited the fourth through sixth-grade students at Art City Elementary, they gave students a chance to feel electricity, watch chemical reactions and learn a little about space. "The Clark Planetarium’s mission is to create and present enlightening experiences that inspire wonder in learning about space and science. We accomplish this by presenting programs about science and astronomy in an exciting and engaging way. Each year more than 100,000 Utah school children receive high quality astronomy and space science education services through Clark Planetarium’s “AstroVan” outreach program and in-house field trips. We invite you to take advantage of the educational resources available through the Clark Planetarium to make your visit or classroom experience more meaningful."
