Art City 5th Grade Track and Field Winners
On April 20 all of the fifth graders in Springville met at Maple Mountain High School for the annual track meet. Congratulations to these students for placing in one or more of their events. For a full winners list check the Springville City Recreation website.
Stand Strong Students
Students at Art City Elementary earn Eagle Bucks for doing well in class, specialties and during recess times. These students chose to use their Eagle Bucks to be on the web page. Great job!
Utah Opera Visits Art City Elementary
Art City Elementary wants to thank the Utah Opera Company for presenting "Who wants to be an Opera Star?" on Wednesday April 6, 2023. Many students came away from the assembly singing and pretending to be opera singers, with a little more appreciation for the opera.
The Utah Opera Young artist ensemble for 2022-23, included, Jasmine Rodriguez, Soprano; Winona Martin, Mezzo-soprano; Jehú Otero , tenor; Tshilidzi Ndou, baritone; Laura Bleakley, pianist.
March Stand Strong Students of the Month
Each month Art City teachers select two students from their class who have demonstrated Stand Strong behaviors.
