Third grade students from Art City had the opportunity to go to Hogle Zoo on Friday, April 15th. It didn't matter that there was rain with short bouts of sunshine, the students had a lot of fun touring the zoo and learning about the animals!
Meagan Brown visited Miss Coffman’s first grade class here at Art City! She came and read a book called, "Trombone Shorty" and then played the French horn for the class. It was so fun to learn about different instruments! Meagan is Miss Coffman's Sister.
Households Must Apply for Free or Reduced-price Lunch by May 6 To Be Eligible for Pandemic EBT
Mrs. Thompson's and Mrs. Roylance's second grade classes had a National Foot Check Day on April 1st. A doctor was "scheduled" to come to Art City to check our 2nd grader's feet to make sure they were growing correctly. The students cleaned their feet really well for the doctor!! They were surprised to find out it was a fun April Fools Day trick!

Nebo continues to have many amazing teachers. Jamie Houston represents one of our best in education. Congratulations and thank you for all you do!!
In February, to celebrate Valentine's Day, the fifth grade classes enjoyed an old fashioned, 50's style Sock Hop. Students had so much fun learning the hand jive, hula hooping, taking pictures and having a bubblegum blowing contest. Thank you so much to the parent volunteers for all your help with this activity!
About 30 students participated in the Reflections contest this year. Two student's submissions from each category went on to the counsel level and Ella Park's 2-D artwork won an Award of Excellence! Thank you to everyone who participated!
Registration is open for the 2022-23 schoolyear! If you have any questions, please call the office.
