The fifth graders learned about the artist Jen Aranyi and created a mountain scene on disks.  One student liked this project so much that she went home, found wood disks, recreated the art and passed several out to teachers and staff.

Art City Artwork

As you stroll through the halls at Art City Elementary School you will notice outside almost every classroom there is artwork on display.  Last week there were two grades that had their Great Artist interpretation of Renoir's "Tulips".   Each class will display some of their favorite Great Artist work during the week of March 14-17.  When you come for parent conferences be sure to take a walk through the school and admire the artistic talent of our students.
