Music Makers Visit Art City Elementary

Art City Elementary school had the oppoutunity to have The Music Makers visit their school.  The program they provided is called “AMERICA SINGS”.   This program provided a lively and educational musical experience for the students.  It is a celebration of America’s rich musical heritage.  It featured traditional American songs along with new original music composed on the spot with the students.  The program features American Music with a focus on Musical Theatre.  It encouraged students to use their talents and to

October Teachers of the Month

Art City teachers, Jamie Huston, Katie Shumway, Judy Luther, and Shana Huffaker were recognized by Rich Davis from Allstate insurance for their devotion and dedication to Art City Elementary school and our students.  Each received a $25 visa gift card.

Art City Reflections

Art City Elementary had approximately 27 students participate in the Reflections program this year.  Several pieces were selected to move onto the district level.  Thank you Mrs. Carter for helping get students involved in Reflections.  

Art City Students Give a Demonstration at Board Meeting

On Wednesday, November 8, 2017, students from Art City Elementary School shared with the Nebo School District Board of Education some of the opportunities they have to be leaders at school.  Art City has a student council that helps with assemblies, they help other students "Stand Strong" and they help the PTA with various activities and service projects .  The student action team dedicate their own time during recess and lunch breaks to write skits for the monthly assemblies to teach studen
