Art City Elementary School, on Wednesday January 27, 2015, celebrated Martin Luther King and Civil Rights with a Second-grade program. The songs that were sung included: "Ain't no Mountain High Enough," "Make them Hear You," Lean on Me," "We Got the power," "There can be Miracles." "This Little Light of mine" and "True Colors." The program focuses on those people who have made a difference in our world. It started around Martin Luther King then expanded to Rosa Parks, Ruby Bridges, and Jackie Robinson.
