My name is Treana Kober.  I graduated from Mead High School,(in Washington); Western Oregon State with my Bachelors of Science, and Brigham Young University with my Masters in Education.  This is my 25th year in education.  I am so excited to be the counselor at Art City.  I was born in Gooding, Idaho; I grew up in Pendleton, Oregon. I now live in Payson, Utah.  I am the second in my family of six; I am married, I have five children and two grandchildren (with one more on the way).  I love to ride horses, watch football, and write stories.

Hi my name is Michele LeMmon.  I graduated High school from Richfield High School and College from Utah Valley University. This is my 11th  year teaching. I am so excited to be teaching 4th-grade.  I was born in Salt Lake City; I grew up in Richfield, Utah.  I now live in Payson.  I am the 2nd oldest in my family; I am married.  To tell you a little about my family  . . .  My husband's name is Russell and he is a teacher as well.  He teaches History and Geography at Spanish Fork Jr.

The First Day of School at Art City Elementary

The first day of school is so exciting!!  We get to meet our new teacher, meet new friends and have lots of fun.  Garrett and Ella Park pose for the traditional first day of school outside.  When they arrived inside, they were so excited to go to class they left mom (Amber Park) in the dust, she found them sitting at their desks ready to start the new school year.  Welcome back everyone to another great year at Art City Elementary School.

IT IS TIME

Registration is well underway for the 2017-18 school year and must be completed by August 1st. Please take a moment to register your student(s) by going to http://artcity.nebo.edu/registration.  All registration is to be done online this year.  If you prefer to do this at the school, Chrome Books will be available from 8 am - 4 pm on August 1st for your convenience. The donation can be paid online, over the phone or in the office by card, cash or check. Please call our office if you have any questions. 

The Crystal Apple Award Goes to Cristy Bird

The Chrystal Apple Award was awarded to Cristy Bird, sixth-grade teacher at Art City Elementary school.  This is what her team said about her:  "I am not surprised at all that Cristy won the Crystal Apple Award. In fact, it should be called the “Cristy” Apple Award because Cristy exemplifies all the attributes necessary to deserve the reward.

Moms Plus Muffins Equals Math for Third-Grade

Moms had the opportunity to come to their student's third-grade classes for some muffins and math time at Art City Elementary school on Friday, May 12, 2017.  Moms' and muffins is an opportunity for moms to come to the school and do some math with their students or for the students to show how well they know their math.  Thank you Moms for taking time out of your busy schedule. 

Art City Students Stand Strong
