Clint Cornwall – Principal of Art City Elementary
The Nebo School Board of Education appointed Clint Cornwall as the Principal of Art City Elementary for Nebo School District. 

Clint earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Utah Valley University and a master’s degree in Educational Administration from Southern Utah University.

Kindergarten 100th Day of School

Recently at Art City, classes celebrated the 100th day of school.  Kindergarten classes celebrated in various ways, including making 100 items posters and 100 year old portraits.  Everyone that walks down our kindergarten hallway gets to see these awesome posters and pictures.

Top TEN Tips for Raising Children with Special Needs
Thursday, February 9, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

This class will go over parenting tips specific for parents of children with disabilities, including:
Mindset
Grief with a new diagnosis or challenge
Dealing with crisis
Parenting Techniques that work
Advocating for your child
Controlling your level of stress
Dealing with unwanted advice
Having laughter and hope in the journey

Students at Art City Elementary earn Eagle Bucks for doing well in class, specialties and during recess times.  These students chose to use their Eagle Bucks to be on the web page.  Great job!

It's almost Val-o-gram Time!

Art City Elementary Val-o-grams Food Drive

February 13th - 17th

Send Val-o-grams (a valentine and sucker) to anyone at school!

Each val-o-gram costs $0.25 OR one can of food.

Bring nonperishable food items before school (8:20-8:40) to get your val-o-grams.

Please bring items in their full box or package-no individual granola bars, ramen noodle packages, etc.  No glass containers.

Get two val-o-grams when you donate one can of the day's special item.  (Ex. a can of fruit will get two val-o-grams on Thursday, but only one on any other day.)
