Oh the countries we see. . . Sixth grade students from Art City Elementary School had the opportunity to go to BYU to learn about countries. BYU had displayed many interesting facts, performed dances and played instruments. There were handouts at each display for the 6th grade students. It was a great experience and amazing. BYU did a really good job to make it fun for the students.

The Students at Art City Elementary celebrated the 100th day of school on Friday January 29th, 2010. The First Grade classes were visited by Zero Hero he delivered cookies to make the number 100. The students counted by 2s, 5s, and 25s to get to 100. First grade classes were reading 100 books. We saw classes making glasses in the shape of 100 and there were 100 treats, (100 goldfish crackers), birthday cakes with the number 100, 100 licks on a lollipop, 100 seconds with our eyes closed, and Mrs. Debbie Hadlock’s 4th grade class pretended to have $100 dollars to spend on books.
