Submitted by julia.murray on

Art City students had the opportunity to dissect snakes for their science class on March 14, 2023.  Dr. Jensen, professor of Biology at BYU, and a few of her students came and showed the 5th-graders how to dissect a snake.  In a few of the snakes there was a small fish inside, which made the dissections even more exciting!

Art City fifth grade students held their annual wax museum on March 9, 2023.   Students dressed up as famous and important people in United States' history.  Some of the characters from history included, George Washington, Nikola Tesla, Elvis Presley, Amelia Earheart, Florence Nightingale, and Walt Disney.  All Art City students, as well as 5th grader's families, were able to walk through the museum and stop and listen to the "famous person" tell a little about themselves and their history.
