Spring has sprung, well not really but when Ms. Parker's class went outside yesterday they saw the beginnings of spring. Ms. Parker's class noticed that the Amaryllis tulips they had planted on October 3rd had started to emerge. Her class, along with the other 3rd grade classes, is participating in Journey North, a global study of wildlife migration and seasonal change with the help of Thanksgiving Point and Utah State University.
It was like Christmas, the students were so excited! We are looking forward to watching the tulips fully emerge and bloom. We will go out periodically to make observations and record data. We then submit it to the main site. We ask that you remind your children not to play around the trees out in front of the school.
