Thursday November 10, 2016 the fifth-grade students were dressed as heros and heroines to honor those who have done great things for our country. The following songs were sung: "America",: "This is My Country", "You're a Grand Old Flag". At the closing of the song portion of the programs students were invited to go to the wax museum that was set up in the fifth-grade classes.
The 5th grade enjoyed an ewey, gooey, totally gross-out afternoon! Dr. Jensen and her students, from the biology department at Brigham Young University, came to our classes and dissected salamanders. We are grateful to them for supplying all the materials and giving of their time. It was a day the students will remember for a long while.
