Read Across America Day/Dr. Seuss Birthday: Wednesday, March 2 was National Read Across America Day.  Read Across America day is a day to celebrate the privilege of being able to read. It is also Dr. Seuss' birthday. We had such fun celebrations going on throughout the school and classrooms! Students wore pajamas or dressed up as their favorite Dr. Seuss character and the Cat in The Hat made an appearance in each class and delivered a little prize for each student.

Art City Food Drive

As part of Kindness Month, Art City held their annual food drive.  Along with the food drive, students were able to purchase Valograms to send to other students.   They achieved their goal to surpass what they collected last year, and collected 1,835 cans of food!  Thank you everyone for being so generous!  Also, a big thank you to our PTA and student council for everything they do to make the food drive possible!
