Magic Mike came to Art City Thursday, September 3rd, to kick-off Ken Garff's Road to Success Reading program. It's a good thing Mrs. Wheatley, a 1st grade teacher, could read because she was placed in the "time-out" box. Magic Mike reviewed the instructions with her, then said to read number four to herself because that was the secret to being safe in the box.
After placing Mrs. Wheatley into time-out Magic Mike slid metal dividers into the box then proceeded to slide long swords into the box. When finished he opened the box and Mrs. Wheatley was not to be seen, only the swords. He closed the box and pulled all swords and dividers out and opened the box back up and there she was. WOW!
If Mrs. Wheatley couldn't read she would not have been able to stay safe as the swords were thrust into the box.
