The first week of school is about getting to know your class and your classmates. In Mrs. Bertram's fifth grade class they used their team building skills to build bridges using straws.
Ms. Hodson's third grade class were given some marshmallows and dry pasta. They formed groups and worked together to build some structures. This is a great team building activity and it helps us learn about growth mindset. Their imaginations and engineering minds worked well together.
