Fall Festival At Art City Elementary
The PTA hosted a Fall Festival Fundraiser in September. The rain didn't stop everyone from having a great time and eating lots of yummy food! Thank you Art City PTA for all you do!

Mrs. Murray had the opportunity to be in Mrs. Huston's class as the students were anxiously engaged in making movie posters. The movie posters were based on what they have learned from stories they are reading in Journey's. They then worked on their Native American dioramas. The fourth grade has been learning about Utah's history and has used that knowledge to make their dioramas.

Art City Third Grade Sees Nature First Hand
Art City third grade classes had the opportunity to go to Brigham Young University to the Monte L. Bean Life Science Museum and also to Bridal Veil Falls to see what they could find that was living and nonliving.
Art City Welcomes Our Third-Grade Team
Maggie Davis was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas. She moved to Utah to attend Brigham Young University and now lives in Provo. Outside of school, Miss Davis loves being creative by painting, drawing, and making crafts. She loves sushi and her favorite treats are cheesecake and candy corn. Emily Peery is from Spanish Fork, Utah. She attended Brigham Young University and now lives in Provo, Utah. Outside of school, Miss Peery loves to go shopping and to travel. Her favorite treats are cookies and she loves cheese burgers and mangos.
Pirates Don't Change Diapers at Art City Elementary School
Mrs. Morgan's Kindergarten classes read the book "Pirates Don't Change Diapers" by Melinda Long and David Shannon. They then talked about what Kindergarten students should and shouldn't do while they are at school. They were also able to create a "pirate" image of themselves!
