What do silly hats, disappearing ink, and squeals of delight have in common? A Carnival! Art City Elementary PTA held it's annual Carnival to celebrate it's students. Students and families had fun jumping, running, eating, giggling, chasing, hanging out with friends and relaxing. Thank you Art City PTA for all you do for the students at Art City Elementary.
Each year students from the third-grade through sixth-grade are invited to participate in the Hershey Track meet, sponsored by Hershey, supported by Springville City and Springville High School. The students have a choice of three events to participate in. Third-grade the choices are 50, 100, 200, and 400 Meter run; Fourth and fifth are 100, 200, 400, and 800 meter; and Sixth-grade does 100, 200, 400, 800, and a few brave souls do the 1600 Meter run. All four grades can choose to do the standing long jump and the softball throw.
