Brigham Young University Education Students get hands on experience.

Art City Elementary School and Brigham Young University (BYU) are partners in teaching and developing amazing teachers, BYU students came to Art City.  The professors model what they want their students to do then various Art City Students are invited in to participate.  The BYU students then give mini lessons and discuss it with their Art City students.  In the past Dr. Brad Wilcox has come in and has said, "I can show them (BYU Students) power points and videos of how a lesson should go but it just is not the same as when you go out into the classroom and see how it works, then to apply it yourself and seeing what works and what does not work."  It is always fun for the students to get a new experience and have some one-on-one time with teachers.
