Art City Elementary Book Fair:  Join us for a "Groovy Book Fair" March 14-17, 2016, open daily 8:20- 3 p.m. and open late Thursday, March 17th until 8 p.m.  Also open the evening of Tuesday, March 15, for the "Great Artist Gallery" from 5:30- 6:30p.m. 

Art City Elementary School in Springville, Utah, students have been practicing since December for the Musical "Seussical the Musical, Jr." The directors Shana Huffaker, Michelle Gardiner and Julia Murray held auditions in November and students were "cast" and worked in groups during December and January then the entire cast (65) were brought together to begin "staging" in February.  Stage Manager, Julia Murray, and the stage crew started in January building props and getting set pieces ready; then came together with the cast to learn their cues for lighting and set changes.

"Oh the things you can think!" Mrs. Morgan and Mrs. Miner's Kindergarten classes celebrated Dr. Seuss Day by making Cat in the Hat hats, eating green eggs and ham, okay really it was green sherbert with whipped cream.  The Kindergarten classes had the opportunity to watch the school play "Seussical" and have their pictures taken in the "Jungle of Nool".
